Per Diem and Hourly Pay

To figure per diem and hourly rate of pay

1. Find your placement on the salary schedule, Appendix 2

   1. For example I will use Step 1-1, $63,264

2. For per diem divide that amount by 183 (# of days of employment)

   1. $63,264/183 days = $345.70/day

3. For hourly rate, divide per diem rate from step 2 by 7.5 (# hours/day

   1. $345.70/day/7.5 hr. = $46.09/hr.
