We have shared our list of issues and concerns. The District listened carefully and expressed a desire to improve upon the present working conditions.
Most recently, we delivered the Association's view of the new funding from the state. According to our research, based on data submitted to OSPI by the District, OHPS will receive a 12 million dollar increase in funding dollars from the state. The Legislature intended most of those funds for salary increases to meet the requirement of the McCleary ruling by the supreme court
OHEA remains steadfast in our desire to increase compensation to correct the decades' long error by the state of withholding proper funding for schools and the reluctance of the district to increase TRI pay.
